Melatonin is a potent free radical scavenger naturally produced in the pineal gland and present in high amounts in the gastrointestinal tract. It is involved in many of the body, brain and glandular biological functions including regulation of normal sleep/wake cycles, regulation of the immune system and maintenance of a healthy gastrointestinal lining.
Melatonin supplements are often used to help improve sleep, particularly for people who have trouble falling asleep or have disrupted sleep patterns. It can be particularly helpful for individuals who experience jet lag or work night shifts, as it helps adjust the sleep-wake cycle to the desired timing.
It’s important to note that melatonin is not a sedative, and it doesn’t directly induce sleep. Instead, it helps regulate your body’s internal clock, making it easier to initiate and maintain a regular sleep pattern.
Suggested use
Take 1 capsule near bedtime with water.

Warnings

I think the dosage was just too low for me. No side effects, but I didn’t feel much of a difference. Going to try a slightly higher strength.

I was skeptical, but this melatonin really works. I fall asleep within 30 minutes and wake up feeling refreshed instead of groggy. A total game-changer.

This helped me fall asleep faster, but I still tend to wake up around 4–5am. Better than nothing, but not the full solution I was hoping for.
